Advertise on Elmira Now
Updated October 8, 2026.
Elmira Now is the local guide people in Elmira, Horseheads, Big Flats, Corning and the Southern Tier open when they are deciding where to eat and what to do. Featured placement puts an independent local business in front of them at that moment, clearly marked as sponsored.
Plans
Featured restaurant: $49 per 30 days. Top of Eat & drink and the Discover spotlight, marked Sponsored.
Featured local service: $29 per 30 days. Top of its category in Local services. Coming soon.
What Featured placement includes
Your listing moves to the top of Eat & drink for the towns and categories it belongs to, takes the Discover spotlight on the home screen when it matches the visitor's filters, and carries a Sponsored label. Your photo, hours, menu link, phone and directions stay exactly as verified; sponsorship changes position, never facts. Placement runs on the website and in the Elmira Now app for iPhone and Android.
What it does not include
No reviews, ratings or wording are written or changed in exchange for payment. Members who bought the ad-free upgrade see the regular order without sponsored slots. Food trucks and chains are not eligible; Featured placement is for independent local businesses.
How it works
1. Send a request with the listing you want featured and your preferred start date. 2. We confirm availability by email, usually within two business days, and send a secure payment link or invoice (card or bank transfer). 3. Placement starts on your chosen date once the payment has settled and runs for the 30, 60 or 90 days you booked. We remind you a week before it ends; nothing renews automatically.
